Let’s fill every home with children’s books

Featuring Bob Duke and Art Markman
of NPR’s Two Guys on Your Head

Watch Bob and Art talk about the importance of reading:

Enjoy Emcee Carl Stuart of KLBJ’s Money Matters and auctioneer Gayle Stallings at BookSpring’s seventh annual Storybook Heroes Luncheon. In honor of real-life Storybook Hero Fred W. Hansen, M.D. and our bookselling friends at BookPeople, Half Price Books, and Literati.

Network with friends, meet dedicated community and business leaders, and learn more about about how and why BookSpring’s Rx, Ed, and Go early literacy programs are working towards the vision that every home with children under 12 in Central Texas has at least 20 books by the year 2020.

Help young brains and hearts thrive

If you believe no child should grow up without books, be a part of the solution.

  • Purchase a ticket for you and a friend. $150 each or $300 for a pair and we’ll seat you both next to some neat people.
  • Buy a table. Reserve a table for 10 for $1,500 or a half-table for $750 and invite people passionate about our shared mission.
  • Get your company, agency, or group to be a Sponsor.  Luncheon Sponsorships are a way for organizations and businesses that care about our children and reading to make known their commitment to the community well-being all throughout the year.  Get priority seating and benefits such as logo placements and recognition at the event. download sponsorship package
  • Make a donation. Can’t attend? Consider making a one-time donation to support the Luncheon’s $80,000 financial goal. Every $50 dollars helps us fill a home with 20 books for local children most in need of inspiration and motivational reading experiences.

Seating is limited! purchase your tickets, table, or sponsorship today

BookSpring’s continuum of literacy programs provide free books, motivational activities, and parent engagements to children from birth to age 12 through heathcare, education, and community partnerships. BookSpring’s efforts have been shown to improve number of books in the home, motivation to read, and academic reading achievement.
