The Junior League of Austin (JLA) is donating $3,000 to BookSpring to grow our program staff. This generous grant will allow us to increase staffing in delivering our continuum of literacy programs throughout Central Texas.

BookSpring is also proud to be a community project of La Liga Junior de Austin this year!  Fourteen members of the Junior League will help promote early literacy by supporting BookSpring with digital content (read aloud) and remote book labeling and counting.

Being a Junior League Community Project has many added benefits.  BookSpring staff benefit from the training offered by the Junior League.  Through the ?Done in a Day? program, we can apply for assistance with much too large projects for us to accomplish on our own.  In the past, Junior League members have assisted with data entry for our annual Family Readathon and supported elementary school librarians with various programs.

La Liga Junior de Austin is a phenomenal group of women that brings so much to our community.  We at BookSpring are honored to work with the Junior League and can?t wait to see what these amazing ladies accomplish in the coming year!
