This week’s theme is all about science. Explore our reading laboratory! So much of our world is studied and discovered through science. Scientists help us know what the weather is going to look like, how to develop new technology and medicine, and all sorts of other things. What questions about the world do you have that you could learn through reading books about science?

- Talk about science! Science and scientists are the reason we have so many of the products and technology we use every day like cars, airplanes, medicine, and even shampoo, to name a few! What are other things in our lives that science helped create? What would you like scientists to work on discovering or inventing for the future?
- Experiment! Make a prediction and do an experiment about what type of orange will float: an orange with a peel or without? You’ll need a big pitcher of water and two oranges, but only peel one of them. Make a prediction about which orange will float and which will sink, then do the experiment and talk about the results!
