It’s fun and easy to volunteer with BookSpring! From reading aloud to children and families to sorting book donations, to helping distribute books, we have a volunteer opportunity to fit you!

New Volunteer Applications

If you are new to BookSpring, please read these testimonials from BookSpring volunteers!   While we are not currently taking new volunteers for any group activities, you may still participate in digital volunteering.  If you want to stay in touch, please complete a new volunteer application. We will capture your contact information and add you to the volunteer email list.

Please note that some positions require criminal background checks. Unfortunately, by policy, we cannot accommodate court-mandated community service obligations.

Digital Volunteer Opportunities

BookSpring is looking for digital advocates for literacy!  We’re looking for pictures, book reviews, and read-aloud videos from people of all ages to spread a love of reading on our social media platforms.  These projects are fun and easy creative outlets for people looking to share their opinions on the literary content that inspires them, without leaving the comforts of home.  Here’s an example of what we’re looking for from our volunteer Gabriel from Generation Serve:

Volunteers can preview instructions and guidelines here to get started.  Contact dana@bookspring.org with any questions.
