BookSpring partners with organizations who cannot afford our nominal 79 cent per child per event program fees to distribute quality children’s books throughout the Central Texas area through the Open Book program on an as available basis.
BookSpring accepts applications from child-serving programs on an ongoing basis for Open Book partnerships. There is no cost for your organization to participate. However, we will ask you to distribute the books so that the child can choose their own titles and supply some basic information to help us match your children’s interests and acknowledge BookSpring by name whenever possible.
Open Book is primarily for new or one-time partners, and recipients of the program will need to schedule a pick-up of their books once they are selected and ready for pick-up from our offices. This program does not include volunteer coordination, motivational kits, and supplies, or other program supports. Ongoing distributions through Open Book are not guaranteed. Building Capacity for Everyone
In exchange for these free books, we request that you help promote BookSpring throughout your organization, as well as on social media, and we will do the same for you! More details about this will come after you apply.
In addition, you might consider organizing a Book Drive, which will help keep the books flowing. By participating through both programs, you gain BookSpring’s expertise in sorting, leveling, and labeling donated books to help your staff get the right books to the right child every time.
