Where is BookSpring located? 

We are located at 2006 Greenbrook Parkway, Austin, TX 78723.

Do you accept donated new or gently used books?

Yes, we accept children’s books for children ages 0-12, in English, Spanish, and other languages, including board books, picture books, chapter books, and young adult books.  The books should be clean, in good condition, free of stickers, and less than 10 years old. You may drop off anytime, 24/7, on the covered porch of our office at 2006 Greenbrook Parkway, Austin, TX 78723. Assistance is available between 10 am – 4 pm, Monday through Friday.

Do you accept monetary donations?

We accept monetary donations, planned giving and legacy gifts, and endowment gifts through Austin Community Foundation. For more information on the impact of your gift, click here.

Checks should be payable to BookSpring and mailed to 2006 Greenbrook Parkway, Austin, TX 78723.

What percentage of a donation goes directly to program costs?

$0.73 of every dollar goes directly to program costs. To access our Financials and Annual Reports, click here.

Who does BookSpring serve?

BookSpring offers a continuum of literacy programs designed to reach children from birth through age 12 by building an active and supportive community of readers. We are focusing our efforts on specific Zip Codes that have been identified as being high poverty in numbers or percentage of children by the American Community Survey.

Who does BookSpring partner with?
