Books on the Go!

BookSpring’s van has been hitting the streets throughout Central Texas to get resources needed to children and families through partners already serving them. Tools that will ensure they read and succeed together.

With thousands of books constantly flowing in and out of our office, we are keeping home libraries growing and clinic waiting rooms and classroom libraries fully stocked.

We are building a community of readers, fostering environments that nurture shared reading experiences, and establishing a sense of community through books. There is nothing more powerful than stories captured and bound in books.

From the BookSpring office to the library story steps at Blackshear Elementary; the classrooms in Child INC centers; the consultation and waiting room(s) in Dell Children’s Circle of Care Pediatrics in Hutto; to the Little Free Libraries throughout Manor, this van is on the go-getting books into the hands of readers.

We are very grateful for all the people who made this new van possible, including members of the Rotary Club of Austin, the E-Club of District 5870, and the Austin University Area Rotary Club, Round Rock Nissan, Reedesign, SignDepot, and everyone who made a contribution this year through Amplify Austin.

The BookSpring van will be the vehicle that drives us toward accomplishing our 20 by 2020 goal. Through the continued support of our initiatives and programs, we can ensure our time and efforts go toward getting 20 books into every Central Texas household by 2020.

Keep your eyes open on the road to see if you spot the BookSpring van!
