Things to Do Together
- Learn more with our partner Austin PBS: Play the Super Why Games
- Talk about what it means to be a hero – there are many people around the world who would be considered heroes. What special powers do they have? A hero can be anyone that does something they have a fear of but is brave enough to still do something. Heroes overcome obstacles – what are some of the obstacles that you have overcome?
- Put on a superhero “cape” (such as a sheet, towel, or long sleeve t-shirt) and pretend to be superheroes! What would YOUR superpower be if you had one?
Ways to Move Together
- Spiderweb walking activity! You’ll just need painter’s tape and some open space on the floor. Practice walking, hopping, and one-leg jumping on the web, trying not to touch the floor
