What is the BookSpring Read-A-Thon?

The BookSpring Read-A-Thon is an annual event where kids read for kids, encouraging community service and sharing the joy of book ownership with children in our community. During the Read-A-Thon, students and book lovers read and collect donations based on the number of pages and minutes they read. The donations buy books and support BookSpring childhood literacy programs in Austin and the Central Texas area.

The BookSpring Read-A-Thon Art Contest

Each year, we hold a contest for students to design a logo for the upcoming Read-A-Thon. That image is used on our website and printed on the t-shirts that are given to all Read-A-Thon participants! Details to be announced with deadline in October.
